About Me: 
I started riding Mountain bikes seriously in 7th grade and began racing a year later. After slowly moving through the ranks of New England NORBA XC racing, I largely abandoned the XC scene for endurance racing; largely 24 Hour races, long-day events and, eventually, the Great Divide Race.

How many years have you been racing or riding?: 
Riding for 11, racing for 10
Why race the Tour Divide?: 
I love the route, particularly the scenery, and the chaos of the adventure. It's also hard to finish, so I'm looking forward to completing the entire route.

Bike Info: 
2003 Santa Cruz Superlight. This is the bike setup I rode in the 2007 Great Divide Race, however, I plan on getting a new Salsa Dos Niner 29" softtail for the 2008 TD!
Gear Info: 
As light as possible: I'm really trimming down the gear list for 2008. I'm aiming to avoid attaching a bike rack (Especially after breaking mine last year). This will result in not bringing a tent, a small bivy sack, extremely packable sleeping bag, and a small repair kit. I'll definitely be bringing a shock pump! I like Mr. Tuffy's in the tires.
